Insights
DC rebuilt around two anchors at the auction: KL Rahul (`kl_rahul`) at ₹14 Cr as the marquee opener and Mitchell Starc (`mitchell_starc`) at ₹11.75 Cr as the franchise-pace investment. Both joined a squad still captained by all-rounder Axar Patel (`axar_patel`) at ₹16.5 Cr, the team's costliest asset. Kuldeep Yadav (`kuldeep_yadav`) at ₹13.25 Cr and T. Natarajan (`t_natarajan`) at ₹10.75 Cr round out the high-spend tier; five players above ₹10 Cr is the most concentrated top-end spend of any side this auction. Tristan Stubbs (`tristan_stubbs`) at ₹10 Cr is the South African retention.
