Rising star Vaibhav Suryavanshi is set for specialized training at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The focus is on refining his skills for India's upcoming tour of Australia and his long-term development.
Suryavanshi, who became the youngest IPL centurion in 2025 playing for Rajasthan Royals, impressed with his performances in England and in domestic one-day matches. He began a personalized training program at the NCA on August 10th, concentrating on technical drills and match-specific practice.
His childhood coach, Manish Ojha, highlighted the BCCI's forward-thinking approach in grooming young talent to fill the void left by retiring senior players. Ojha emphasized the need for Suryavanshi to improve his consistency in longer formats while acknowledging his explosive abilities in T20s and ODIs.
