DPL 2025 Kicks Off with Thrilling Last-Ball Finish

The Delhi Premier League (DPL) launched its second season with a thrilling match between South Delhi Superstarz and East Delhi Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The opening ceremony featured musical performances and was attended by dignitaries including Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji and DDCA President Rohan Jaitley.

The Superstarz, captained by Lucknow Super Giants player Ayush Badoni, set a competitive total of 169/6. Badoni contributed 25 runs, while Abhishek Khandelwal and Sarthak Ray played crucial knocks.

The Riders chased down the target in a last-ball thriller, winning by 5 wickets. Anuj Rawat top-scored with 55, and Rohan Rathi hit the winning six.
