RCB Launches "RCB Cares" Fan Safety Program After Stampede Tragedy

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has launched "RCB Cares," a comprehensive fan welfare and safety initiative. This program is a direct response to the tragic stampede that occurred during the team's IPL 2025 trophy celebrations, resulting in 11 fatalities. "RCB Cares" includes a six-point plan to improve crowd management, emergency response, and fan safety protocols.

The plan involves collaboration with stadium authorities, the IPL, and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). RCB aims to create a safer environment for fans and prevent future tragedies. The initiative also includes a fan-safety audit framework and annual training for on-ground partners.
