KKR and Coaches Pandit, Arun Part Ways After Disappointing IPL Season

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have parted ways with head coach Chandrakant Pandit and bowling coach Bharat Arun after a disappointing IPL 2025 season. The team finished eighth in the standings, prompting the change in leadership.

Despite leading KKR to the IPL title in 2024, Pandit's tenure was marked by inconsistencies and reported internal issues within the team. Arun, who joined KKR in 2022, played a key role in strengthening the bowling unit but ultimately departs alongside Pandit.

KKR is reportedly looking to restructure its coaching staff, with Abhishek Nayar potentially taking on a more prominent role. The franchise will aim to rebuild and improve its performance in the upcoming IPL seasons.
