Sunrisers Hyderabad star Abhishek Sharma has achieved a monumental feat in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings, setting a new all-time record for batting rating points. Following his Player of the Series performance in the recent Asia Cup 2025, the 25-year-old left-hander reached 931 rating points.

This score surpasses the previous record of 919 points set by England’s Dawid Malan in 2020. Sharma finished the tournament with 926 points, a significant 82 points ahead of the second-placed batter, Phil Salt.
